Pelvic Floor Therapy

Supporting Women Through Every Phase of Life

At Ascend, we help women like you attain optimal pelvic health so you can feel confident and pain free throughout all phases of life from early adulthood into advanced years. We start by conducting a comprehensive exam to identify what may be contributing to the problems you are experiencing. We build a holistic, individualized care program that not only focuses on your pelvic floor, but also takes into account the interconnected systems of your body. We then help you get results using our proven therapeutic techniques.

We Specialize in Treating These Conditions

Bladder
Dysfunction

We are passionate about assisting women who face bladder dysfunction, which affects almost half of all women at some stage in their lives. We understand that pelvic floor muscles often play a role in this condition, along with other issues we address including voiding dysfunction, bladder urgency and frequency, as well as difficulty with bladder emptying.

Bowel
Dysfunction

We help women overcome bowel dysfunction, which encompasses a range of issues such as constipation, difficulty with stool evacuation, bowel urgency, and bowel leakage. Our goal is to offer comprehensive care and tailored treatments to help women address these bowel-related problems and improve their bowel function.

Pelvic &
Abdominal Pain

We specialize in assisting women who experience pelvic pain, which encompasses discomfort in areas such as the abdomen, lower back, SI joints, tailbone, and genitals. Pelvic pain can be linked to other diagnoses like endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, or vulvodynia, or may happen without a known condition.

Pelvic Organ
Prolapse

Here at Ascend, we are able to assist women who are dealing with pelvic organ prolapse, which includes conditions such as cystocele, rectocele, uterine prolapse, or vaginal vault prolapse. We also provide support for women who are preparing for, or recovering from prolapse surgery, or wishing to prevent further descent of tissue and prolapse.

Sexual Pain
& Dysfunction

At Ascend Pelvic Health we work with women facing difficulties concerning their sexual health. Nearly one in five women experience painful intercourse, also known as dyspareunia. In addition, there are many other medical disorders that may contribute to your pelvic pain that we can also help with as well as issue.

Pregnancy &
Postpartum Care

Our bodies undergo constant change during and after pregnancy. The process of bearing a child can bring new challenges to our entire body. While pain or leakage may be common, you don’t have to just live with it. We are here for you in your journey from fertility throughout pregnancy and well beyond.

Struggling with pelvic floor issues that are limiting social participation, causing embarrassing incidents, pain that interrupts daily activities and sexual intimacy, reduced exercise time due to leakage or frequent bathroom breaks? Need guidance with your pregnancy and postpartum recovery?

We Are Here For You.

We partner with you in life, helping you manage any pelvic health challenges you have along the way. Whether you are experiencing pain, perinatal and postpartum symptoms, bladder or bowel issues, or the challenges brought on by menopause – our goal is to identify your specific needs and work with you to create an individualized plan of care that allows you to live in comfort, with control and freedom over your pelvic health symptoms and ultimately live life without limits.
